Who we are

RoleShift (roleshift.net) is a UK job board for career-changers, currently in pre-launch. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at roleshift.app@gmail.com.

What we collect

At this pre-launch stage, we collect only what you give us directly:

Your email address — when you join the waitlist or take the career quiz
Your quiz result — the career archetype you're matched to, so we can send genuinely relevant updates rather than generic ones
Company name and work email — only if you register interest as an employer

We do not currently use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Why we collect it

To notify you when RoleShift launches
To send your career quiz result and relevant job matches once we're live
To understand which career paths are most in demand, so we build the right thing

We will never sell your data, and we will never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How your data is stored

Signups are processed through Formspree, a third-party form service, and land in our email inbox. We don't currently operate our own database or user accounts — there's no password, profile, or account to worry about, because none exists yet.

Because RoleShift is pre-launch, this policy will be updated as the product grows — particularly once we introduce employer accounts and live job listings. We'll always keep this page current and won't make material changes without making them clear.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Ask what data we hold about you
Ask us to correct or delete it
Withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time

Cookies

This site does not currently set tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes (for example, if we add analytics to understand site usage), we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
